The Insitute for Speculative Media's New Educational Outreach Program "Websites for Non-Profits"

Beginning October 22nd at Highland Tech Charter.

Out North is pleased to announce Websites for Non-Profits, a new media educational outreach program taught by Nathan Shafer and developed with current art house resident, the Insitute for Speculative Media in cultural collaboration with Highland Tech Charter and Out North.

This innovative new program will be a web design art class for the students of the Anchorage School District, it is beginning at High Tech because of its amazingly tech savvy students, and its proximity to both the ASD main building and Out North. Any students from the Anchorage School District are invited to participate when the classes begin at Out North. Students will be creating exciting and dynamic new websites for deserving Alaskan non-profits. This will be a real world design program meeting the needs of so many local non-profits.

There is a limited number for participation, so apply with us early!

Any interested students should let us know of your intention to paticipate early! You do not need to know how to build websites to participate.
